For the past several months I have started to get stuff together for a new church. It is going to be called Transit Assembly. It will be located in the Seattle, Washington area. And, we are setting out to lead people of the alternative style and lifestyle into Christ-centered lives.
What an exciting opportunity this is! I am truly blessed by God to be able to be apart of something of this magnitude. The past couple days have been a tremendous blessing especially in the realm of Transit.
1. Here in the next couple days we will be sending off the papers that need to be sent out to be incorporated as a not-for-profit organization.
2. The possibilities of some promo material that we want to do. We are thinking about doing several different videos about what we want to do in Seattle. One for children's ministry, one for the worship ministry, and so on.
3. We've been looking at budgets from a couple departments and thinking about the possibilities of the impact that we can make in Seattle.
With all of this happening and more behind the scenes, it makes the joys of church planting high! I just can't help but think of the tremendous impact that Transit could make in Seattle with the help of God. ... We work like it relies on us, and pray like it relies on God because it does. We are going to do our part of getting everything ready and being legit. We are going to do our budgets, think of great sermons and topics to do, come up with a superb discipleship plan, and more. Then with God also on our side pushing us and giving us the ideas and the favor to do what we need to do, we will be successful.
The purpose of this particular blog was to just do some good ranting. But also, to brag on how good God is. I truly love Him and couldn't imagine doing any of this without His help. Thanks God for giving me this dream and vision to do this church plant, as well as, putting everything together that it can work out to glorify Your Name.
