Something that makes me wanna cry is the absence of love. The absence of someone being cared for and caring for others seems unbearable to me. But there are people in this world that truly feel the stings and pains of not being loved. Drastic change needs to happen in this world and love needs to prevail in a world full of hurt and pain, fear and worry, despair and gloom.
In my life I cannot ever remember genuinely being told by my parents or by friends that they loved me. And, I'm not trying to get a "Whoa is me" acceptance here, but that affects a person down deep. Love is so important that it can truly cause great strong holds to happen in peoples life. For example, one of those for me is the insecurity that no one truly loves me. While I know in my mind that God loves me and that my friends and family love me, I can't always see it or feel it.
I don't know if you've ever walked in that fear or insecurity of feeling unloved, but if you don't know what it's like it causes you to do some things. First, it causes a debilitating phobia of people. All people; friend or foe. People that are like you or not. Every single person no matter how close or far you are from a person. Second, it really does render a person useless. For many reasons, God does not fully empower people who live in this fear and agony because it is a spiritual oppression that can be overcome. It is hard to overcome any spiritual issue; but especially this issue since the enemy truly wants to get us away from loving people who care about us and more importantly a God who loves us so much that He created us to be in relationship with Him.
People need to know, third and finally, this basic principle about people like this; people can and cannot help themselves in this life controlling issue. You may say, "That makes no sense." But let me explain before you totally tune me out. People can determine (with God's help of course) what path they choose. A person can choose to be positive or negative; as well as, be a victor over sin or stay where they are in there stained mess. While on one hand this is true, the other side of the issue is no one (let me repeat that for you), no one can do anything without God doing a work in the issue.
If I were to have the special ability to create out of nothing any kind of food that I wanted, it would not be good for me if the sin that I struggled with was gluttony. In the same way, my natural bend is to think that people don't love or care about me. I can't just ignore that like I could with something as tangible as food. However, the spiritual issue here is that if I present that before the Lord as a place in my life that I need His complete and total healing from then He will be faithful to His Word which says that He will answer us when we know and that He will be found when we seek Him.
Thus God will answer our pray. Not because He answers every willy-nilly little pop-up prayer that we pray, but because we are trying to become more like Him and listen to the truth that He has given us value. He is a God who heals; He is a God who frees people from the bondage of oppression; and He is a God who deserves all the praise and all the glory. On the other hand, we cannot just pray once and expect a lifetime worth of problems and issues to go away.
In reality, it may be an attack that the enemy tries to use over and over again in our lives to try to paralyze us from not doing anything in God's Name. Therefore, on a consistent (in most cases, daily) basis freedom from this issue needs to be brought up before the Lord because "where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom." All of this to say, God is a God who heals and frees. He is a God who upholds His promises. He is my most gracious Father who shows me love.
But not only the previously mention, He also shows love to you. I don't know where you are at this moment with the Lord, but He loves you. It doesn't matter what your family background is; it doesn't matter what your friend count is; it doesn't matter what you look like or ever you have tons of problems; God still loves you! And, He wants you to feel His all-consuming love all around you today.
May God hear you in your place of silence amongst the noise of this world. May He see your face that may seem all-too common amongst all the other faces. May He wrap His arms around you and let you feel the encompassing, warmth of His arms as they show you His love through a hug. May this genuine, real, bona fide, and true; undisputed, actual, and sincere love flow from your Maker and Creator; Savior and Redeemer; Holy God and Righteous One to you His child and most precious possession.
